Topics for the 6 week

Below are the topics for the next 6 weeks as well as the “housekeeping” guidelines for the group. Please read them over. We’ll probably send a reminder the weekend before each session:

Bringing Clarity to Chaos and Movement to Muck—Introducing The Circle Tool Process

Date: Nov 18

Facilitator: Jamie

The Circle Tool is both very simple AND has real depth. By working within an intuitive field outside the mind, we are able to bring clarity and direction to relationships, issues, and teams of people reaching for the same goal. Come and learn what it is, how it works, how to align it with what you already do—and how to get started.

A Bigger Better You—Gaining a fully Integrated Self

Date: Nov 25

Facilitator: Jamie

What if you no longer felt you needed to protect the shy parts, hide the silly parts, or shield the soft parts of yourself? How would your behavior change? How would your strength and power as a leader grow? No more triggers. No ups and downs. No hiding behind the couch.

That is our topic and practice for tonight. Bring all your assorted bits of self to the group and let’s put them on the board and get to know them better.

Doing Keen Assessment—the Ultimate Time Saver

Date: Dec 02

Facilitators: Jamie & Jodi

You can’t save someone who is lost in the forest until you get to where they are. The first step of being a Circle Tool facilitator is to wander into the forest.

What is the issue? Who is contributing? What factors are at play? What would be lost if the chaos ended? At what level of development are they?

Using The circle ide of the board, we ask keen, targeted questions that help to locate and narrow down the issues at hand. Vast resources are often dumped into solving a problem--only to discover it wasn’t the right problem. We’ll explore the original layout of the three circles as well as ask others share how they have adapted it for their use.

Tabletop Constellation Versus Full Family & Organizational Constellation

Date: Dec 09

Facilitator: Jamie

Learn more about the history of Family and Organizational Constellation Work. What is it? Where did it come from? How is it used? We'll also be discussing and exploring the differences between a tabletop constellation and full constellation work. Each person will be setting up a family or origin constellation using The Circle Tool for practice and discovery.

Moving Effectively Within the Intuitive “Knowing Field”

Date: Dec 16

Facilitators: Jamie & Jodi

The mysterious electromagnetic field around us has been given many names: morphic fields, holographic field, energy field, intuition, dynamic field. Although we give it names we do not fully understand it and could easily place in in the outer ring of The Circle Tool and call it “the unknowable.”

However, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t there. And it doesn’t mean we can’t use it.

We know that there are greater forces operating within us and around us that are not generated by mind only. In this session we will be exploring what in constellation work is called “the knowing field.” Learning to interact with this field and operate within it is the best part of learning to facilitate with The Circle Tool. The more we work with it—the better we get.

  • Using the board to establish a knowing space.
  • Bringing curiosity and respect into the Discovery space.
  • Setting aside assumptions & judgement and taking second chair to the process.
  • Trusting the client to interact with and operate within that knowing space.

A Time to Gather & Reflect

Date: Dec 23

Facilitators: Jodi & Jamie

During this informal group we will be offering a series of “prompts” in a talking circle. This will be a nice way to learn more about each other--where we have been, and where we hope to go. Wear your Santa hat or ugly sweater if you it makes you happy. The only thing better would be if we could gather in person and have a moment to appreciate one another—and cookies, of course. We will also be asking for feedback on the tool, the process, your learning, and what would make your learning easier.

Housekeeping for The Monday Night Group

  • The Monday Group continues to be an open Zoom group at this time. All are invited.
  • Bring your Circle Tool Kit to group. We will be constellating small issues during most every session. Purchase of a kit is not required, but most of you will want one if they continue to participate in our learning community. Available here for $55 or contact us and we will get one to you.
  • Invite a friend. Part of our Growing Up and Growing Out plan for 2025 is to bring others to The Circle Tool Process.
  • Be on time. Latecomers to the group tend to interrupt the flow and cause a disruption. All sessions will be recorded so you can review them later if you can’t make it on time. Go to Resources to watch them.
  • Be respectful of time when sharing your process within the group, so there is time for all.
  • Be Brave. Don't feel shy of taking out The Circle Tool to help a friend, work with a client, or look at your own personal issues. You can’t do it wrong and you will learn from each session.
